In this paper we study some aggregation methods for the analysis of closed queuing networks. The methods are based on the mean value analysis. The methods are explained by looking at a classical example in computer performance evaluation, a CPU-disk model. Some numerical results are added to illustrate the accuracy of the proposed methods
