Unter Verwendung verschiedener genetischer Marker (Alloenzyme, Mikrosatelliten, Sequenzen der mitochondrialen Kontrollregion) wurden populationsgenetische und phylogeographische Fragestellungen an Rothirschen (Cervus elaphus) und Rehen (Capreolus capreolus) untersucht.
