Adaptive filters are digital filters capable of self-adjustment. If the statistical characteristic of the input data varies with respect to time or the required knowledge about input data is not satisfactory, adaptive filters are needed. In this paper, an adaptive finite impulse response filter is designed by using Differential Evolution Algorithm and the effect of control parameters, combination factor and scaling factor, on the performance of Differential Evolution Algorithm is investigated
