It was established that cardiac arrest survivors who had undergone cardiopulmonary resuscitation could go through cognitive experiences, and that some of them could accurately recall speciic details of the events they passed through during the period of cardiac arrest demonstrating the presence of a conscious state. Numerous studies have indicated that the majority of cardiac arrest survivors had poor quality of lives, and they were let with behavioral, cognitive, and emotional impairments as well as post-traumatic stress disorders.
