For art, contribution of substance abuse is a controversial subject. The artists who are substance abusers claim that by the works they product during the intoxication, they express themselves better. This works are quite similar to the products of psychopathological art. Therefore, some questions arise: what are the correspondences and differences between the pure art and the psychopathological art? Are the effects of substance dependence to creativity positive or negative? Are the generalizations appropriate or not?
