Radiotherapy is one of the effective treatments for aggressive fibromatosis. Between January 1991 to December 2005, 24 patients with aggressive fibromatosis were treated by external radiotherapy at Ege University Medical School Department of Radiation Oncology and the data were analyzed retrospectively. Ten patients were men and 14 patients were women. The localization of the tumor was chest wall in 12 patients and extremity in 12 patients. Fourteen patients had recurrent disease before radiotherapy. Six patients were received adjuvant radiotherapy after the first-line surgery, two patients were referred for neoadjuvant and two were for curative radiotherapy.
