WOS: 000382826400022The main objective of this study is to investigate the use of the landfill gas as potential energy and electricity obtained from the municipal solid waste (domestic, industrial, medical waste, and sewage sludge) stored regularly in the Harmandali solid waste landfill area, within the boundaries of the contiguous area of Izmir. The most important factor in making a decision about energy potential in the landfill is the amount of methane in the landfill gas.
