Skeletal scintigraphy is one of the most useful and widely employed procedures in nuclear medicine. The most common radiopharmaceuticals for bone imaging are Tc99m-phosphate compounds. Bone scintigraphy can demonstrate the activation of lesion on bone and soft tissue. It is more sensitive than radiological investigations. It is valuable in forensic medicine practice especially in the detection of occult fractures which are not obvious on clinical examination and plain radiography, soft tissue injury and healing stage of the fractures. But it must be correlated with radiology
