Posterior ligaman kompleksi ile ilgili birçok invitro biomekanik inceleme yapılmıştır. Tüm bu incelemelerde, vertebra stabilitesinde posterior ligaman kompleksinin sağlamlığının önemli olduğu bildirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, koyun vertebraları arasındaki interspinöz ligamanları sağlam ve yırtık olup telle bağlanmış olan grupları karşılaştırarak, interspinöz telleme yönteminin dayanıklılığı invitro olarak test edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla 24 koyun lomber vertebrası invitro olarak biyomekanik teste tabi tutulmuş, örnekler sağlam, posterior ligamanları sakrifiye edilmiş ve interspinöz bölgeden telleme tekniği ile tespit edilmiş grup olmak üzere 3 gruba ayrılmıştır.
