Purpose: The effects of two different doses of dexmedetomidine, a selective ? 2-receptor agonist, on anesthetic agent consumption and neuromuscular blockade and intraoperative analgesic requirement were aimed to compare with the control group. Material and methods: Sixty patients between 18 and 60 ages were studied.
