Today, technology rapidly develops and effects all branches of science. The nurses, being the basic performer and an effective member of healthcare, are also effected from technological changes and developments considerably. Healthcare technology has influenced the behaviours of professional nurses; their application areas; and the quality of equipments that they used Thus nurses have started using developed technology in many nursing practices. Technology, which brings many advantages in nursing area just as it does in many fields, also causes several harms unless used appropriately and properly. One of the significant points striking among advantages and disadvantages of technology is the abandonment of humanist behaviors in lieu of technology. Nurses are bridges between technological world that is far from being humanistic and the humans' world, and that what is important in nursing practice is the integration of being humanistic with technological developments
