New records of the Leatherback Turtle (Dermochelys coriacea) are reported from the Turkish Mediterranean and Aegean coasts, increasing the total number of records in Turkey to six. It is suggested that the species occurs more or less regularly in the eastern Mediterranean. © 1998 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC
