Amaç: Spina bifida, yüksek tip anorektal malformasyon, kloaka anomalisi, yaralanma gibi nedenlerle oluşan dışkı inkontinansı, tıbbi sorunların yanı sıra oluşturduğu ruhsal sonullarla da önemlidir. Dışkı kontinansını sağlamak için Malone'nin tanımladığı ters appendikoçekostomi (Malone Antegrade Colonie Enema: MACE) rektal yıkanmalarla kontinans sağlanması çabalarına yeni bir boyut kazandırmıştır. Çalışmamızda MACE uygulanan hasta grubumuzun sonuçları irdelenmiştir. Yöntem: Kliniğimizde 1995-2002 yılları arasında MACE uygulanan 16 olgunun kayıtları geriye dönük olarak incelenmiştir.
