WOS: 000342876200026Selected polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were evaluated for their degradation potentials in aerobic completely stirred tank reactor (CSTR) and bacterial monitoring was performed with using real time polymerase chain reaction (real time PCR). For this, identified bacteria were inoculated to continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) for degradation of selected PAHs. During the degradation process, bacterial existences and numbers were monitored with using designed primer-probe sets in real time PCR. As a mean of the ageing period, 55 days, pH was 7.5 and the dissolved oxygen (DO) was 4 mg/l.
