A case of a benign presacral schwannoma which was detected incidentally in a patient with a complaint of a vague right lower abdominal pain is presented with preoperative radiographic evaluations which suggested a left adnexal mass consistent with ovarian tumor. Laparotomy findings and surgical excision of the tumor as well as the complications during the operation such as the injury of the left side sacral nerve root and adjacent veins were described. Tumors presenting with similar clinical symptoms may arise in the presacral or pelvic retroperitoneal space. Accurate diagnosis prior to surgery and knowledge of the presacral anatomy is mandatory to avoid trauma to the nerve roots and vascular tissues in tumors of the presacral space. Ultras...
