A study on microtuberization of five potato genotypes under in vitro conditions

Agria, Resy, Sultan, klon 106 ve klon 122 patates genotiplerinden alman meristem bitkileri iki ayrı ortamda yetiştirilerek mikro yumru oluşturmaları izlenmiştir. Yıldırım, 1995 besin ortamında Agria ve Resy yüksek oranda mikro yumru oluşturmuştur. Sultan ,106 ve 122 genotipleri düşük oranda mikro yumru vermiştir. Resy patates çeşidi en fazla sayıda ( 4 ) ve en yüksek ağırlıkta (Maksimum:l,2 gr ve ortalama.0,6 gr) mikro yumru oluşturmuştur.Plantles of 5 potato genotypes originated from meristem tips were cultured in two different nutrition media in order to study their microtuber production capacities . A gria a nd R esy v arietes p roduced h igher p ercentages o f m icrotuber a s 68% and 71 % respectively in the medium Yıldırım,1995. Variety Sultan and clones 106 and 122 produced microtubers at low level. Resy and Agria also produced highest number of microtuber. Resy produced microtubers with maximum tuber yield (1.2 g) and mean tuber weight (0.6 g)
