Dye removal from the industrial effluents has become a significant problem in terms of both health and environmental considerations in the last decades. Dyes are toxic thus their removal from the industrial effluents is vital. In this study, poly(acrylamide) grafted onto cross-linked poly(4-vinyl pyridine) (P4-VP-g-PAm) was synthesised and used for the removal of anionic dye methyl orange (MO) and cationic dye methylene blue (MB) from the aqueous solutions.
