The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Parents' Approach Styles to their school age children's basic needs on children Emotional Abuse-Neglect; if there is, to determine its today's level, to increase societal awareness and sensitivity of the society through maintaining actuality of the subject. Population of the research is the first level of primary education students' parents in Ki{dotless}rşehir province center. For the sample three schools were randomly selected to represent upper, middle and lower socio-economic levels, and total 15 classes, five from each schools representing first through fifth grades.
