Use of teaching resources in chemistry teaching for students with Visual impairment.

Atualmente tem-se verificado crescente o número de alunos especiais com deficiência visual e surdez, inseridos nas escolas de ensino regular nas séries do ensino fundamental, médio e ensino superior. A Educação Inclusiva não é aplicada em todas as escolas públicas sabendo-se que é o assunto de extrema importância para garantir a formação do cidadão e promover os direitos de igualdade para todos. O uso de metodologias educacionais é considerado de grande importância, e influência no processo ensino-aprendizagem, seguida com os recursos didáticos que auxiliem em sala de aula. Este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar os materiais elaborados para os alunos especiais, com deficiência visual e avaliar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem no ensino de química, visando elaboração e identificando dos materiais didáticos que podem auxiliar alunos cegos em sala de aula. Foram construídos materiais didáticos alternativos de baixo custo, adaptados ao ensino especializado para aluno com deficiência visual, elaborados com objetivo de promover uma educação inclusiva. Aplicou-se a uma aluna do 9º ano da escola CEEIGEF (Centro de Educação Especial e Integrada Geny Ferreira), localizada na cidade de Sousa, PB, a aluna tem a perda da visão de um olho, possuindo visão subnormal (baixa-visão) no outro. Para tanto, aplicou-se questionário com perguntas discursivas. Logo, pode-se perceber que no seu cotidiano na escola não dispõem de professores capacitados para dá assistência necessária, apenas contava com colega para ajudá-la que escrevia o conteúdo com letras maiores. De fato, avaliando a aprendizagem da aluna a partir dos kits trabalhados, a aluna mostrou-se interessada e motivada com o manuseio dos materiais didáticos. É interessante notar que observou-se que aluna compreendeu os conteúdos químicos que foram abordados na aula experimental em Braille, e que os materiais apresentados são adequados para o ensino de química para alunos especiais com deficiência visual. Este trabalho foi realizado com sucesso, por meio da contribuição da aluna, pode-se verificar que ainda há escolas que não estão preparadas para receber alunos especiais, e, ainda a educação inclusiva não é vivenciada na escolaCurrently there is a growing number of special students with visual impairment and deafness, inserted in the regular schools in the grades of elementary, high school and higher education. This paper aims to evaluate the materials developed for special students with visual impairment and to evaluate the teaching-learning process in chemistry teaching, aiming at the elaboration and identification of the didactic materials that can help blind students in the classroom. Low cost alternative teaching materials were developed, adapted to the specialized teaching for visually impaired students, designed to promote an inclusive education. Applied to a 9th grade student at CEEIGEF (Geny Ferreira Center for Special and Integrated Education), located in the city of Sousa, PB, the student has the loss of vision in one eye, having low vision (low vision) in the other. Therefore, a questionnaire with discursive questions was applied. Therefore, it can be seen that in their daily life at school they do not have trained teachers to provide necessary assistance, only had a colleague to help her who wrote the content in larger letters. In fact, by evaluating the student's learning from the worked kits, the student was interested and motivated with the handling of the didactic materials. It is interesting to note that it was observed that the student understood the chemical contents that were covered in the experimental Braille class, and that the materials presented are suitable for teaching chemistry to special students with visual impairment.
