The rate of reaction of pollutants entering the water or the detrimental effects on the aquatic organisms are generally influenced by various environmental factors such as total alkalinity, hardness, dissolved oxygen, ph, turbidity, temperature etc. In aquatic environment the physico-chemical changes are occurred due to the release of effluents.
