GC-MS analysis of saffron (crocus sativus L.) stigma extract grown in Hatay / Kırıkhan

Hatay/Kırıkhan’da yetiştirilen safran (Crocus sativus L.) stigmasının metanol/etil asetat karışımı ile ekstraksiyonu yapılmış ve safranın uçucu bileşenlerinin analizi GC-MS (gaz kromatografisi-kütle pektroskopisi) ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre Safran stigmasında değişik yapılarda fitokimyasalların bulunduğu gözlenmiştir. Bu bileşenlerin bazıları literatürden elde edilen verilere göre, biyoaktif özelliklere ve birçok farmakolojik etkiye sahiptirler.Saffron (Crocus sativus L.) stigma grown in Hatay / Kırıkhan was extracted with methanol / ethyl acetate mixture and volatile components of the saffron was determined by GC-MS analysis (gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy). According to the obtained results, phytochemicals in various structures were observed in the Saffron stigma. Some of these components have bioactive properties and many pharmacological effects according to the literature
