Two researchers, Mr. Hans Olav Ibrekk and Mr. Jan Sørensen from Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA), visited Zambia and Zimbabwe for two weeks in April/May 1992 to undertake a comparative study on water resources management. The study was financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Institute for Water Research as part of a program to improve Norwegian environmental scientist's competence with regard to development aid co-operation.
