The social ethics of Pope Francis : the gospel of mercy according to the spirit of discernment

Resumen: Este artículo nos presenta el hilo y principio hermenéutico del pontificado del Papa Francisco: la misericordia. Pero, este principio articula todos los ámbitos de la vida cristiana, especialmente aquel que toca al corazón vuelto sobre los más pobres y los débiles. Esta entrega exige el discernimiento histórico para descubrir dónde y cómo vivir este mandato evangélico. Los temas presentados en este texto de Scannone nos ponen ante un caudal teológico y espiritual de particular incidencia en nuestra actualidad eclesial.Abstract: This article presents the thread and hermeneutical principle of the pontificate of Pope Francis: mercy. But this principle articulates all areas of Christian life, especially that which touches the heart turned on the poorest and the weakest.
