Verticillium dahliae causing Sunflower Verticillium Wilt (SVW) is a vascular pathogenic fungus of increasing importance in south western France. Biofumigation performed with brassica cover-crops grown during the long fallow period of the durum wheat – sunflower rotation is not only able to provide numerous ecosystem services but might also be efficient in regulating SVW.
