The paper study the effect increased wind- and solar power production will have on the price volatility in the Nordic electricity market. With the use of the statistical software package Stata supply and demand functions in the price areas NO2 and DK1 was estimated for each hour of the day. NO2 is an area where the electricity production is mainly from hydropower, while DK1 is an area with a high share of wind power production and some solar power production. It was used data from January 2014 to December 2016.
