The Jan Van Eyck Academie is a post-academic institute for research and production in the fields of fine art, design and art theory, based in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Today it is as an international hotbed for talent development. Essential in the new organisation is that the institute is an open meeting place for people: artists, thinkers, readers, curators, writers, designers, poets, dreamers, workers, and occasional passers-by.
