International audienceThe study of high cycle thermal fatigue raises several experimental challenges among which keepingthe thermal loading constant all along the cycles, continuously measuring this loading and its effects interms of mechanical strain and damage in the most loaded area. Recent experimental results onaustenitic stainless steels obtained on a device designed to address these specific challenges arepresented.
