Tradução como procedimento intertextual: a recriação de Leminski do Satyricon, de Petrônio: Translation as an intertextual procedure: Leminski's reinvention of Petronius's Satyricon

The present article highlights some aspects of the Petronius’ Satyricon translation, performed by the poet Paulo Leminski. Our analysis will focus on the dialogue between the intertextual theory and the conceptions established by the poet about translation. We will accentuate the similarities between the aforementioned theories, that reflect the translation work, in this case, includes the Latin source text and its reinvention in Portuguese, by the translation in the target text, emphasizing passages that reveal the appropriation of the Latin text.O presente trabalho destaca algumas características da tradução do Satyricon, de Petrônio, realizada pelo poeta Paulo Leminski. Nossa análise se dará por meio da interlocução entre a teoria intertextual e as próprias concepções instauradas pelo poeta sobre tradução. Destacaremos as similaridades entre as teorias mencionadas, as quais refletem o fazer tradutório, neste caso, o texto latino de partida e sua reinvenção em língua portuguesa, por meio da tradução no texto de chegada, destacando trechos que revelam a apropriação do texto latino.
