This text has the objective to present some of the medicine knowledge already known by Pliny’s time, based on the scientific research, which title is: Latin classic culture topics: confluences between De Re Coquinaria, from Apicius, and Naturalis Historia, from Pliny. This research is base don the corpus of 37 books from Naturalis historia, from Pliny, the old, from which are translated extracts in accordance with an especified vocabulary, present on Apicius’ culinary writings.Este escrito tem o objetivo de mostrar um pouco do conhecimento de medicina que já era sabido na época de Plínio, com base na pesquisa realizada em âmbito de iniciação científica, intitulada Tópicos de cultura clássica latina: confluências entre o De Re Coquinaria, de Apício, e a Naturalis Historia, de Plínio. Essa pesquisa baseia-se no córpus dos 37 livros da Naturalis historia, de Plínio, o velho, da qual são traduzidos trechos de acordo com um vocabulário especificado, presente na obra culinária de Apício.
