A Governança da Inglaterra Medieval: The Governance of England de Sir John Fortescue e as Práticas do Parlamento (c. 1461-1478)

This paper intends to show the most important results of a research where we focused on the complex concept of the government that is present in The Governance of England of Sir John Fortescue, and the main questions were to what extent were these ideas put in practice in the parliament, and to what level this text was only an artifice materialized in political treatise in the Fifteenth Century during the Wars of the Roses (1455-1485) in England.Este artículo tiene como objetivo destacar los resultados más importantes de una investigación en la que investigamos la noción polisémica de gobierno presente en The Governance of England de Sir John Fortescue; la medida en que se practicaron tales ideas en el parlamento; y la medida en que su texto fue solo un dispositivo materializado en un tratado político en el siglo XV durante la Guerra de las Rosas (1455-1485) en Inglaterra.Este artigo pretende evidenciar os resultados mais importantes de uma pesquisa na qual investigamos a noção polissêmica de governo presente em The Governance of England de Sir John Fortescue; até que ponto tais ideias eram praticadas no parlamento; e em que medida seu texto foi apenas um artifício materializado em tratado político no século XV durante a Guerra das Rosas (1455-1485) na Inglaterra
