O Historicismo: a redescoberta da História

This article deals with confrontation between the two most important historical paradigms that predominated in the Occident during the last two centuries - French Enlightenment and German Historicism. It intends to define the historicism and its "historical reason" against the philosophical reason of the Enlightenment. The author considers German historicism the "re-founder of history".O artigo trata do confronto entre as concepções da história do Iluminismo francês e do historicismo alemão, ao longo dos séculos XIX-XX. Procurou-se definir o historicismo e apresentar a sua “razão histórica” contra a Razão filosófica iluminista. O historicismo é considerado como “refundador da história”, pois interessado em resgatar o passado, ao contrário do Iluminismo, interessado em constituir o futuro. O artigo discute os dois grandes paradigmas históricos predominantes no Ocidente nos dois últimos séculos. &nbsp
