This article describes the social links developed on online games, some aspects of group dynamics, construction of the character role and its mutability in the game. It is also discussed factors such as connectivity, skills, fame and the meaning of clan that the player builds in relation to the game. For this purpose, participant observations were made on the online games Ragnarok, Cloud Nine and Aion, as well as focal groups with skilled online video game players.
