This study is an endeavor to acquire an overview of the knowledge and attitudes of the community in efforts to prevent tuberculosis. This study was carried out at working area of Puskesmas Batua (Public Health Center), involving 52 subjects who were the outpatient care. An interview utilizing a selected questionnaire by convenience sampling was the data collection instrument. Results indicated that the subjects with good knowledge were 36 (69.23%), and less one were 16 (30.77%), while with a positive attitude were 36 (69.23%) and negative one were 16 (30.77%).
