Risk Factors of Stroke in Medical Rehabilitation Center Unit, Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital, Makassar

Stroke is the second cause of death after heart disease in developed countries that tends to increase in developing countries including Indonesia, especially in big cities. In Makassar itself stroke especially in Hospital Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo the case is fluctuative every year. This study aims to determine the risk of the incidence of stroke in the Medical Rehabilitation Unit at the General Hospital Center Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar in the year of 2012. The study was observational using a case control study. The case was stroke patients and control was non stroke patients. The analysis used was odds ratio and logistic regression.wth value ? = 0,05.
