Diamondback moth (DBM) has been important pest of crucifers since years ago worldwide. The first DBM resistance was reported on dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT), from then it has developed resistance to other insecticides. Its ability to build resistance to almost every insecticide introduced is a great concern to the agriculture world, owing mainly to its short life cycle, continuous host availability and its genetic elasticity.
