Computer games are important area of culture. It has been presen-ted that computer games may have positive impact on cognitive functions and personality development. Moreover, computer games are no longer categorised mainly negativly as behavioral addictions.The aim of this article is to present the results of publications focused on im-pact of computer games on the psychosocial functioning of children and adults.Gry komputerowe stanowią istotny obszar kultury nowych me-diów.
