DIVERSIDAD DE MURCIÉLAGOS EN DOS ECOSISTEMAS DEL NOROESTE DE CAMPECHE, MÉXICO

The wealth and diversity of bats in two localities of Campeche, México, were described and compared, from February to July, 2015. Five to seven sampling zones were used per site based on their vegetation, such as fruit-producing areas, conserved rainforest, perturbed/conserved rainforest, and perturbed rainforest. One hundred and thirty-four individuals were captured, belonging to three families and ten species, of which 76 (56%) of nine species were from the locality Rancho Xamantún; and 58 (43%) also of nine species from the second site, COLPOS Campus. The most abundant species was Artibeus jamaicensis with 34 individuals and the least were Dermanura phaeotis, Centurio senex and Lasiurus intermedius with only one individual each, followed by Desmodus rotundus and Sturnira parvidens with two individuals,respectively. The Beta diversity was 0.8, similar between the two study areas. The accumulation curve of species for both sites was asymptotic. Four trophic guilds were found: nectar-pollenivore, frugivore, insectivore and hematophagous. Both study areas are important for the conservation of bat species in the Northwestern part of the state of Campeche, highlighting that this study is the first of its kind in the region.Se describe y compara la riqueza y diversidad de murciélagos en dos localidades de Campeche, México, durante febrerojulio, 2015. Se utilizaron de cinco a siete zonas de muestreo por sitio de acuerdo a su vegetación, tales como áreas frutales, selva conservada, selva perturbada/conservada y selva perturbada. Se capturaron 134 individuos pertenecientes a tres familias y 10 especies, de los cuales 76 (56%) individuos de 9 especies, fueron de la localidad rancho Xamantún y 58 (43%) individuos también de 9 especies se capturaron en el segundo sitio Campus COLPOS. La especie más abundante fue Artibeus jamaicensis con 34 individuos y las menos fueron Dermanura phaeotis, Centurio senex y Lasiurus intermedius con un solo individuo cada una, seguidas por Desmodus rotundus y Sturnira parvidens con dos individuos respectivamente. La diversidad Beta fue de 0.8, siendo símil entre las dos áreas de estudio. La curva de acumulación de especies para ambos sitios fue asintótica. Se encontraron cuatro gremios tróficos: néctar-polinívoro, frugívoro, insectívoro y hematófago. Ambas áreas de estudio son importantes para la conservación de las especies de murciélagos ya que pueden considerarse reservorios de la biodiversidad para la parte noroeste del estado de Campeche, resaltando que este estudio es el primero de esta índole en la región
