This study analyses the contribution of international trade to the economic growth of Kazakhstan, examines relationships between the structure of international trade and the national economic growth, and considers the compatibility of international trade (globalisation) with regional economic agreements among CIS countries. It applies the linear regression to the secondary data of Kazakhstan's macroeconomic indicators. The discussion of this study focuses on several aspects of international trade policy reforms, especially about short-term and long-term policy implications, and their contributions to the continuing growth of the nation's economy.
