This work had pursued the compilation and organization of some ideas about motion determining from image sequences. In recent years some ideas have been proposed to analyze image sequences, but there are no many proposals for the implementation of these kind of systems. Analyzing such algorithms and some hardware systems used in the image analysis it is possible to establish some ways to design specialized architectures. In first place some important definitions are given, then the most useful operations in images are studied, next a mathematical approximation to motion is given and at last, some possible architectures to determine motion from image sequences are proposed. 1
