Analysis and Comparison of Methods and Algorithms for Data Mining

In this report we review and compare data mining methods and algorithms. After a short introduction on the general concepts of data mining we focus on four speci c topics, metaquerying, data clustering, similarity queries and visualization, and go deeper, analyzing the various approaches and proposals known in the literature and, where applicable, in the market.
