Network connectivity is becoming an important factor for many transportation problems, yet in general we do not have available to us sufficiently detailed maps of expected connectivity that might guide our decision making. Here we detail an approach to creating such maps. Connectivity contour maps are introduced, and the relationship between signal strength and throughput discussed. This work may contribute toward more widespread efforts to create such maps, and the presence of such maps may in turn have implications for emergency response, transportation planning, policy, and individual decision making. 1
