Virtual traveling technique in virtual environment (VE) is one of the interaction techniques. It aids user to travel freely in VE. Even though there are a lot of virtual traveling techniques, all is only based on the way of specifying the target position. In this paper, we proposed new travel technique called Forve which are allowed to specify the desired velocity and acceleration of travel. We evaluate its usefulness by conducting quality factors analysis. Subjects are required to travel through virtual corridors until reaching the end of the corridor.
