Although meetings are a pervasive experience of organizational life, researchers have not examined their effects on the employee. By likening meetings to interruptions and daily hassles, this study proposed that the meeting experiences of an employee can affect hidher daily well-being. Participants were asked to maintain a daily work diary of their work meetings for a period of one week. They were also asked to complete daily self-reports of their well-being, which included measures of fatigue, negative mood, subjective workload, and feelings of productivity.
