Xml For The Representation Of Semantic In Model Coupling

Modeling activity is in the center of a lot of scientific discipline. Models become more and more complex because of knowledge increasing. The complexity of system to be modeled implies the use of different formalism (petri-nets, differential equation...) in the same model called multimodel. Formalisms integration is a well known issue (Zeigler, 2000). However, the issue of integration at the semantic level, well known for data base integration, is not really treated in the modeling field. This paper deals with the representation of model inputs and outputs with the eXtended Markup Language (XML) as a possible representation of semantic for data exchange.
