This paper discusses the use of simulation games as a complementary activity. It starts by reviewing learning styles models on section 2, to illustrate the need for "teaching around the cycle" i.e. activities to address all learning styles. Then, on section 3, a taxonomy for games in learning is proposed, allowing to determine precisely the scope of this paper. Section 4 shows some examples of the application of simulation games to Operations Management with practical results described in Section 5. Finally, Section 6 indicates directions to follow.
