this paper, we presented a graphics tool for performing cache visualization (CVT) and showed that dynamic cache visualization can help understanding codes cache behavior. It can be useful in the development of software optimizations for data locality, the analysis of new cache designs, and detailed cache performance analysis. The assets of the tool is to provide an intuitive representation of codes cache behavior, and to assist the analysis of cache phenomena with various statistics and informations. Reference
