: The World Wide Web covers an enormous volume of electronically stored information on wide ranging subjects. Web offers phenomenal opportunities for acquiring knowledge in any field, and has already introduced radical changes in the direction of information dissemination worldwide. This paper provides a brief overview of traditional Internet resources and tools, and the potential benefit of Web technology to enhance teaching and learning practices at tertiary engineering schools.
