. Many accelerator applications need a flexible, rapid, and accurate systems analysis tool capable of performing beamline and subsystem plant optimizations. This paper describes a systems code that has been developed to model ion accelerator systems and perform design evaluation and system level trade studies. The code uses a series of FORTRAN modules incorporated into a graphical user interface (GUI) that constructs the accelerator in a window on a computer screen. The studies provide overall systems level performance and subsystem requirements within the context of a fully integrated device.
