The library interface version 6.0 for the PARMACS portable message passing package with bindings for both ANSI C and Fortran 77 is presented. In comparison with the macros which are described in [1], the functionality of the library interface has been slightly enhanced, mainly to improve the scalability for large numbers of processes.
