Analisis Faktor Dominan Penggunaan Jamu Cekok Pada Masyarakat Pedesaan Di Kecamatan Pakong Pamekasan Jawa Timur (Dikembangkan Sebagai Sumber Belajar Biologi)

Traditional herbal medicine that is consumed spesefically by children is known as jamu cekok which refers to the way of the given “dicekokin”. The use of jamu cekok by rural communities is based on several factors including economic factors, cultural factors, medical factors, and factors of knowledge. Research with title “Analysis of dominant factors use of jamu cekok on rural communities in the district Pakong Pamekasan East Java (developed as a source of biological learning)”. The purpose of this research was to know the dominant factors in the use of jamu cekok in rural communities in district Pakong, Pamekasan, East Java and know results of the use of research results of the dominant factors of the use jamu cekok as biological learning resouces. This type of research quantitative descriptive research based on observation, the approach of cluster area proportional random sampling. This research was conducted in August 2019. Data retrieval through a poll to 133 respondents user of jamu cekok in the village of Klompang Timur. The data analysis technique used was a Regresi Linear Berganda. Based on the analysis of data, the conclusion that the dominant factors of the use of herbal medicine in rural communities is the economic followed by cultural factors, medical factors, and knowledge factors and utilized as a source of learning biology in the form of odd semester on material “Scope of Biology)”’ Based on the concurrent influence between the use of herbal medicine and the influencing factors obtained results of 72.3, while the separate influence between variables obtained the results of the calculation of effective distribution shows the results on economic factors of 23.58, cultural factors of 19.85, medical factors of 14.99 , and knowledge factors of 13.91 while the results of the calculation of relative distribution obtained results on economic factors of 0.33, cultural factors of 0.27, medical factors of 0.21, and knowledge factors of 0.19
